DIYTiered Dessert Trays : blah to TADA!
With Easter and Mother’s day quickly approaching, the outdoor/sunny luncheons will be upon us in no time. Make your own tiered dessert tray out of thrifted dishes. I particularly liked the salt shakers holding the top tiers. Perfect height.

Sewing Kit In A Jar | Martha Stewart
You know in Julie & Julia how she decided to make every recipe out of Julia Child’s cookbook? I think maybe I should do something similar and make every craft from Martha’s website. I could then write a book and have Amy Adams play me in a movie - which I’ll probably need to re-coup the money I spent on making all the crafts! Or I could sell the things I made… I think I need to work shop this a little more. But anyway, this is so clever! I’m so going to make one of these for everyone I know. The one thing that happens whenever I decide to sew something is this: I find the thread… and no needles. Or I have needles… and no coordinating thread. Three hours later I give up and go on Tumblr! This is perfect to keep everything in the one place and it’s cute to boot.
